About 9Team Racing
Formed in 2023, 9Team Racing is a collaborative effort fuelled by passion, between 9tro Racing and CK 93 Auto Garage, alongside motorsports enthusiasts and privateers Tony Chooi and Kenneth Wong.
Based primarily in Malaysia, aside from competing in the K Car Global 24 Hours Endurance Race biennially, 9Team Racing also provides arrive-and-drive car rental services, driver coaching and circuit experience.

About the Car
We own and manage a Perodua Kelisa, an 850cc inline-3 kei car (kei-jidōsha 軽自動車) based on the fifth-generation Daihatsu L700 Mira. It is stripped bare, reinforced with an FIA-approved multi-point roll-cage, and powered by a fully rebuilt race engine. It’s 5-speed transmission, braking and suspension systems have also been uprated to withstand the requirements for endurance racing.
About CK 93 Auto Garage
Based in Johor Bahru Malaysia, CK 93 Auto Garage started as a performance workshop back in 2021. With a strong background in building race engines and chassis, the company also competes in various races in Malaysia, including the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race, Malaysia Championship Series and MSF Series.
Helmed by Ah Keong who serves as Chief Technical Officer, CK 93 Auto Garage also provides the team with mechanical and technical support.
About Tony Chooi
A racing veteran who competed in rallies and circuit racing since the 1990s, Tony’s comprehensive understanding of race craft provides the team with invaluable expertise. Tony serves as Team Manager and Chief Strategist.
About Kenneth Wong
Ex-Vice President for Karting with the Singapore Motor Sports Association (SMSA) and current Racing Steward for Motor Sports Singapore (MSS), Kenneth brings to the team a wealth of knowledge ranging from sporting regulations, logistics management and financial administration. Kenneth serves as Chief Operations Officer.

Having participated in various levels of motorsports since 2010, ranging from time-attacks, sprint races and endurance races, 9tro Racing brings to the team extensive experience in race team management, driver development and motorsports media.

Following on the successes of the 2023 K Car Global 24H Endurance Race, 9Team Racing returned to the 2025 edition with a fresh team of drivers and successfully clinched the final spot on the podium, finishing 3rd in class (Class M3)!!

Following on the successes of the 2023 K Car Global 24H Endurance Race, 9Team Racing now provides affordable arrive-and-drive services for new drivers keen on experiencing motorsports, as well as race drivers hoping to gain seat-time.

2023
On our first foray out as an amateur race team, we competed in the 2023 K Car Global 24 Hours Endurance Race with eight drivers, each racing two-90minute stints. After starting from 24th out of a total of 42 cars, we successfully completed the race on the podium, finishing 2nd in class (Class M3) and 8th overall!
